At CHDR, Donna serves as the Administrative Director and is a member of the Leadership Team. She oversees all of the infrastructure planning and implementation for the Center including personnel, space management, fiscal reporting, and grants management. She also serves as the Consortium director for the Neighborhoods Study, an NIH-funded, 22-site research study on the social determinants of health in the context of Alzheimer’s disease.
Donna has over 30 years of research and administrative experience. Donna holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park in Animal Science. She was a bench-top biologist at the National Institutes of Health for 5 years before moving to Madison and working in various research labs on campus. She brings her passion for brain science and research to the Center along with her strong pursuit of social justice and inclusiveness to create a culture and climate at CHDR that is welcoming to all and a safe space for team members to thrive and develop professionally.
