Andrea Luke

Andrea holds a Master of Business Administration from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Illinois Wesleyan University. Andrea guides the administrative functions for the center, including human resources management, communications and outreach, and financial procedures. Her work focuses on increasing organizational effectiveness by investing in key stakeholders and integrating a positive, supportive work culture that leverages individual strengths to exceed organizational goals. 

She comes to the Center for Health Disparities Research with five years of administrative experience at the Staley School of Leadership at Kansas State University where she drove the creation and implementation of critical operational processes and procedures. Andrea also was key in the development and advancement of strategic plans and initiatives for the School. Prior to her career in higher education, Andrea spent nearly 10 years in the senior living field, leading teams in administration, resident life, and sales and marketing. Regardless of the industry, she is passionate about connecting people to the resources they need to make their work and lives easier.
