Advancing Precision Medicine Symposium 2026:
Data Science for Precision Medicine and Public Health

Tuesday, October 6

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Health Sciences Learning Center

Highlights include:

  • Keynote presentation by Erika Kim, Ph.D., who leads the Biomedical Data Fabric Toolbox Program at ARPA-H, with a focus on creating transformative AI-enabled technologies for research and clinical impact.
  • A “Shark Tank”-style Innovation Accelerator Award competition where 5 trainees will pitch and present their research ideas to a panel of expert judges for a chance to win $25,000 in pilot research funding.
  • Scientific talks from UW faculty Drs. Corinne Engelman and Huy Dinh, as well as Dr. Akash Kumar from MyOme—a startup company focused on genomic medicine.
