Axell has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His historical research focuses on settler memory and Christian Nationalism.
In the future, he hopes to return to academia and pursue a doctorate in history. To unwind, Axell enjoys writing music on the guitar and catching up with his triplet brothers.
