Lauren Etter

Lauren holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University. At CHDR, Lauren is a research analyst on the Residential History Team. She helps to create residential timelines for decedents that are part of the Neighborhood Study.  She also holds expertise in data analysis and programming (R, python, MATLAB). 

Lauren worked for five years at the Boston University School of Public Health in global health research.  There, she worked under Professor Christopher Gill, on many projects related to child health and survival.  She led field work in Lusaka, Zambia, and was heavily involved in data analysis for various projects. Her work was multidisciplinary, collaborating with teams that spanned expertise in computer science, public health, statistics, and mechanical engineering.
