Alice Honigman

Alice has a Bachelor of Science in Community and Environmental Sociology and a certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has taken specialized courses in the social determinants of health and the use of the sociological method in research. Alice has worked as a Job Coach for adults with disabilities and more recently as a CNA working with patients with Alzheimer’s. This work has ignited a passion for working with and improving the lives of people in often marginalized communities.

Alice enjoys nature and has always had a love for camping. She tries to make one trip each summer to a new state park. Along with this, she loves to draw and paint, sometimes incorporating nature into that art. Alice grew up around lots of animals and while she doesn’t have any pets currently, she’s hoping to get a cat this year.
