Lael is an undergraduate senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying Biomedical Engineering, with a focus in biomechanics. She is also pursuing a certificate in Chicana/o Latina/o Studies. Lael hopes to attend medical school after graduating and pursue a career as a physician.
Lael has previous educational and work experience as a certified nursing assistant and clinical simulation assistant. Additionally, she recently completed an internship in Cordoba, Argentina observing different physicians and healthcare systems.
In her free time, Lael likes to read, see friends, and play with her 1-year-old puppy, Maverick.
