Colleen Baldwin

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in history from Jacksonville University, a Master of Arts in history from the University of Memphis, and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also earned a graduate certificate in archives and special collections.

Colleen focuses on the Neighborhood Study, creating residential histories and ensuring their accuracy. She also focuses on the training process and mentoring the other members of the team.

Throughout Colleen’s career, she has delved into archival records and performed historical research. Her expertise ranges from ancient history to early U.S. history and provides her with knowledge and experience working with a variety of sources useful in the creation of residential histories. Previously, she was an archivist in Ebling Library (SMPH).
