David holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in biology, with a minor in chemistry and in captive wildlife.

David has 10 years of project management experience and business process improvement expertise. He is energized by collaborating with people to understand their processes and help make improvements. David brings a high attention to detail and a desire to learn and understand complex problems in order to rearrange them into manageable pieces. He acts as a project manager for the Neighborhoods Study.

David enjoys cooking, curating meals, and baking. These may not seem like direct methods of informing his work, however, he views these activities as puzzles to solve or rearrange into different combinations. David uses the same creative food outlet in the professional space by examining problems from multiple angles, working with others to understand gaps, and ultimately co-creating solutions to improve the work that we are performing. Similar to sharing a meal and breaking bread together, helping others solve problems and learn new perspectives brings a level of joy to David’s personal and professional endeavors.
