Julia has a Master of Science in counseling with an emphasis in clinical mental health. Julia is a Research Analyst working in the Residential History Team at CHDR.

Julia previously worked for the Center for Students with Disabilities (CSD) at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. She provided case management and resources to students, faculty, and staff to enhance educational equity and wellbeing among students with disabilities. While at CSD, she conducted several needs assessments and a program evaluation to inform her interventions and resources. Her role working with students with disabilities at CSD as well as her past experiences volunteering at domestic violence shelters, a sexual assault hotline, and an ELL classroom increased her understanding of societal barriers and passion for promoting equity among traditionally marginalized communities.
