Jenny Yuan

Jenny holds a Masters of Business Administration with a graduate certificate in strategic innovation from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with a minor in human resource management from Upper Iowa University.

At CHDR, Jenny is the finance and grant administration manager, with responsibilities including serving as the fiscal and grant management point of contact, overseeing pre and post-award research administration, maintaining oversight over the broad CHDR budget and accounts, preparing financial projections, and more. 

Jenny joins CHDR after working in the private sector for many years, before joining the UW, where she has spent more than 15 years in financial and research administration roles at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Wisconsin School of Business, and the Department of Soil Science. 

In addition to her work at CHDR, Jenny also co-chairs the Region IV National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) DEI Steering Committee. Region IV is the mid-America section of NCURA and is made up of research administrators from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
